Using Small Spaces

Have a small space you don't know what to do with it? Looking for more room in your house without adding on square footage? We were tasked with changing a small laundry closet into a more useful space for a family.

Their existing space was, literally, a closet with a washer and dryer in it with folding-out closet doors that took up space when opened.

We gutted the space, and removed the closet doors. In their place, the home-owner wanted a small powder room easily accessible from the kitchen and living area outside of this space.

The small space was perfect for a 1/2 bath/powder room, which was what the client was looking for.

Inside, we installed a sink and compact toilet and a modern 24" x 13" floating vanity with white counter-sink top.

We replaced the folding doors with a pocket door, saving space.

It was made extra functional and decorative by insetting a chalkboard for positive messages, menus (in this case the door is near the kitchen), lists, or artwork!

Some decorative elements like the art work and chrome round mirror gave this powder room the final touches to make it cozy and beautiful.
